Overview
Exwood is a micromobility company focused on electric scooters. I was responsible for designing the MVP of their mobile app, defining the core user experience and essential flows required for users to start using the service.
The goal was to create a functional, intuitive foundation that would support future product iterations.
Seamless urban mobility, from the very first ride
Designing a frictionless scooter experience that enables users to discover, activate, and manage their rides effortlessly—creating the foundation for Exwood to scale its micromobility service.

Problem Statement
How might we transform an incomplete MVP scope into a functional and scalable product experience?
The initial scope focused only on a few core screens (onboarding, dashboard, map, and profile). However, critical parts of the experience were missing, making the product incomplete and not ready for real usage.

Research
The challenge wasn't just designing screens, it was defining the experience
Through product analysis and flow exploration, it became clear that the MVP lacked essential user flows required for a complete and functional experience.
Solution Strategy
I focused on designing the full experience, not just individual screens
Instead of limiting the work to the initially requested screens, I expanded the scope to include all necessary flows and built a foundational UI system to ensure consistency and scalability.

User Flow
Designing a complete and intuitive journey
I mapped and designed all the necessary flows for a functional MVP, ensuring users could move seamlessly from onboarding to completing a ride.

Smart onboarding within the experience
To reduce friction, I introduced contextual onboarding. This guides users exactly when they need it and avoids overwhelming onboarding at the start.
UI Kit
Building the foundation from scratch
Since no design system existed, I created a UI Kit to ensure consistency and scalability for this MVP.

Inter was selected for its cross-platform readability and neutral, modern tone. Its clarity across both iOS and Android ensures consistency, while its professional aesthetic aligns with Exwood’s target audience and product positioning.
